CASE STUDY - CCB (China Construction Bank)
The HIT-NETZON library systems are used in the accounting audit system. The project of optical disk archive systems for accounting audit in the CCB headquarter was conducted by open international competitive bidding in June, 2006. Many world-renowned optical library manufacturers were invited to this bid. After fierce competition and strict technical assessment, NETZON GMS3560 jukebox from HIT and PoINT Jukebox Manger software won the bid exclusively and provided all the hardware and software for 38 provincial CCB branch offices countrywide.
HIT-NETZON optical disk library systems and management software are used in the accounting audit system. Large volumes of data are generated from scanned bills and materials. The image information is ultimately stored on optical disks and can be searched at any time through an ECM platform. This project raised the company archival storage to a much higher level, so that efficient and fast response is provided. The accomplishment of this project undoubtedly raised the company’s competence of data security and compliance.
Ever since the end of 2006 when HIT-NETZON libraries were gradually used in CCB branch offices, the overall operation status has been excellent. At present, these jukeboxes are filled in many branches, especially big branches. So far the overall storage capability is over 2000TB and it is the biggest project in this field worldwide. This system is playing a very important role in recurring audit processes.
To further enhance the functionality of the libraries and to further improve the long term accuracy of magazine access, firmware upgrades on libraries in CCB branch offices are done gradually. Magazine adaptive functions were added, which means the library robotic can automatically learn and adjust the robotic settings without human interference.
NETZON GMS 2105 and PoINT JBM software won the second open bidding of CCB headquarter construction project exclusively again in July, 2008.
